Ruukki Construction Oy’s Technology Centre, part of the SSAB Group, has used Small Data Garden Oy’s IOTSU® solution to monitor the conditions of the building envelope. The data transfer is based on Digita’s nationwide LoRaWAN® IoT network. The solution can be used to monitor and analyse the pressure difference and temperature of structures as environmental conditions, such as wind load changes. Small Data Garden’s solution is industrial and can withstand harsh conditions. “The system has been easy to deploy, has worked well and provides a well-functioning and practical tool for monitoring building conditions,” says Jyrki Kesti, Technology Director at Ruukki Technology Centre.
