With the IOTSU® VARMA Control Link solution building condition data can be connected to building actuators and control systems, enabling intelligent ventilation control. For example, by controlling ventilation speed according to actual demand, significant savings can be made in both heat energy loss and the electrical energy consumed by the ventilation system.
In addition, making adjustments on demand improves occupant health and the maintenance of structures. The IOTSU® VARMA system consists of indoor air quality monitoring IOTSU® measurements units, which create an accurate picture of the ventilation needs of the premises, both in terms of carbon dioxide and in terms of, for example, humidity and temperature. Based on the collected measurement data, the IOTSU® VARMA cloud service can guide the IOTSU® VARMA Control Link solution to adjust the building’s ventilation to the current needs.
IOTSU® VARMA Cloud can be connected to an existing building automation system via the Control Link interface and is already integrated with for example Schneider Electric’s smart platform service. The solution opens up a new range of service offerings for building services operators.
