Electricity distribution company Caruna has deployed IOTSU^® solutions to improve the monitoring and reliability of its electricity network. Caruna aims to use the remote monitoring solution to increase reliability, safety and operational efficiency. The IOTSU^® solution enables the monitoring of internal temperature and humidity conditions in electrical cabinets, which helps to detect damage in time and to anticipate maintenance actions. In addition, the solution improves the safety of electrical cabinets by helping to detect unauthorised activities inside the cabinets. This is made possible by presence and light detection to ensure that the doors of the electrical cabinets are closed and that unauthorised persons do not harm themselves on live parts of the electrical network.
